Торонто расположен на северном берегу озера Онтарио, откуда открывается впечатляющий вид на башню CN (CN Tower) - самую высокую башню в мире. Облик города довершают блестящие небоскребы и зеленые парки, уютные жилые кварталы, многочисленные культурные достопримечательности и разнообразные отели Торонто. Город имеет важное экономическое, культурное и туристическое значение. В конце 50х годов сюда нахлынул поток иммигрантов со всего света, поселившихся в разных районах Торонто. Иммигранты привезли с собой свою культуру, свои традиции. Город во многом приобрел черты американского многонационального мегаполиса, не потеряв при этом своей индивидуальности. Именно это делает его привлекательным для туристов.
