 Милан - второй по величине город в Италии и одна из столиц мировой моды. Это старинный город с множеством исторических памятников и культурных достопримечательностей. Его появление датируется еще древнеримскими временами. Сердце Милана и одно из наиболее часто тиражируемых изображений города - Дуомо - знаменитый собор, чье строительство заняло почти 5 веков. Еще одним символом города стал легендарный оперный театр Ла Скала. Среди шедевров искусства, которыми может гордиться Милан - «Тайная вечеря» Леонардо да Винчи. Современный Милан прибавил к этому шумных «тиффози» на футбольных матчах на стадионе Сан-Сиро, роскошные отели, показы мод и бутики Версаче, Прада, Джорджио, Армани, Гуччи... Кроме того, Милан - один из промышленных и финансовых центров страны.
