The Brookdale is a family-owned 30 bedroom hotel in the heart of the county town of Truro, where we seek to combine modern efficiency and facilities with genuine old-fashioned Cornish hospitality. Were less than 10 minutes stroll from the city centre, with its cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and theatre and 8 minutes stroll from the citys historic cathedral, and just 5 from the River Fal, where you can take a boat trip down to Falmouth. All rooms are ensuite with tv, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephones and ISDN connection (cat 5). The Brookdale enjoys a spacious well-stocked bar and an especially fine restaurant, able to seat up to 75 guests. The restaurant offers both an extremely good and reasonably priced table d'hote and a la carte menus.

The Brookdale enjoys a spacious well-stocked bar and an especially fine restaurant, able to seat up to 75 guests. The restaurant offers both an extremely good and reasonably priced table d'hote menu and an a la carte menu that is varied and interesting, as well as an extensive but reasonably priced wine list. Our restaurant is open to residents and non-residents and orders are taken from 7pm - 9.15pm. Our dining room is spacious with enough privacy between tables for that perfect romantic moment. We can offer private dining for small parties. We host birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, weddings, christenings and anything else you would like to celebrate. We also offer a range of buffet menus as well as seasonal special menus at different times of the year. Please see our list of menus on the website. Our buffets menus can vary depending on what you would like to eat at your celebration, our chef is always happy to chat with you to develop a tailor-made menu just for your celebration.

How to get:
At Exeter take the A30 West towards Cornwall. Continue on the A30 for about 80 miles. At Carland Cross take the A390 towards Truro for about 5 miles, turn left at the first round about, at the traffic lights turn right towards the city centre. The Brookdale Hotel is located half mile down the road on the left hand side.
