This traditional and friendly hotel is owned and managed by the Talg family, who has made it synonymous with high standards of quality and service. Set amidst the tranquil Taoro Park, the hotel overlooks Puerto de la Cruz, a pleasant 15-20 minute walk away, and has commanding views of both the ocean and Mount Teide. With extensive subtropical gardens and a wide range of facilities, Hotel Tigaiga has something for everyone. There is a nice outdoor heated swimming pool with sunloungers, towels and parasols, as well as a tennis court decorated with air plants, a petanque lawn, a cactus garden and a number of peaceful spots with seats where you can sit and enjoy the view. Restaurant Jardin is where full buffet breakfast and table dhote dinner is taken. The a la carte Restaurant Tinguaro has a warm, intimate ambience and often features typically Spanish dishes. Additional information: Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 3-12 receive a 50pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult.

TFN-Tenerife Airport North-Leaving the airport take the motorway direction Puerto Cruz-approx 20 mins drive-25 km. After passing the bridge take the exit Autopista del Norte. Follow for 20 mins-approx direction Icod de los Vinos. Take exit Nr. 34-the second exit to Puerto de la Cruz-continue parallel to the motorway. Drive past the Shell petrol station-leaving it on your left-and after a long straight stretch of road-the main street-take first a right and then a left turn. After the left turn you drive straight on following the signs to the Parque Taoro. You will pass the Anglican Church on your right and the second entrance on the left is the hotel Tigaiga entrance. At the airport there is a Tourist Information stand where you can collect a simple map of Tenerife.

Leaving the airport take the motorway direction Santa Cruz-approx 30 min drive-63 km. After passing the exit Santa Cruz Muelles-take the exit Autopista del Norte-Puerto de la Cruz-its a bridge which crosses the motorway. On the roundabout go straight on and you will come to another bridge crossing the northern motorway. Take the right lane on the bridge and at the end take the first exit on the right. This will bring you onto the northern motorway. Follow for 20 mins-approx 35 km-direction Icod de los Vinos. Take exit Nr. 32-the second exit to Puerto de la Cruz-Parque Taoro-and continue parallel to the motorway. Drive past the Shell petrol station-leaving it on your left-and after a long straight stretch of road-the main street-take first a right and then a left turn. After the left turn drive straight on following the signs to the Parque Taoro. You will pass the Anglican Church on your right and the second entrance on the left is the hotel Tigaiga entrance.
