Domus Selecta La Quinta Roja

This ancestral mansion, LA QUINTA ROJA, dates from the XVI century, and has received its name from the original owner, the Marquis of La Quinta Roja. The volcanic Catastrophe of 1706 partially destroyed the house during subsequent fire. Later it was rebuilt respecting much of its original architectural beauty. Standing as a loyal witness, is the stone staircase and columns, which adorn it and the patio. These stairs lead up to the first floor. Surrounded by old adorable palaces, noble buildings, churches, convents, square; you will have an inedible memory of this place. On the southwest corner opposite the twon hall, you can see a viewing gallery, inspired by Arabic architecture. This house cani??t hide its age or its canarian style of baroque architecture, which characterize it. Through the generation many of the Cristobal de Pontei??s family lived here. It has been restored with a loss of rigour and loving commitments.
