KC Grande Resort was derived from the original of 50 cottages/huts, mainly to serve laid-back holiday makers 18 years ago well before Koh Chang was known internationally. Later on when the country economic was progressing in particular the tourism industry. The developer has the opinion that the location of KC Grande resort is too expensive to receive only the budgeted guests. Therefore additional of 30 units of standard bungalow, parallel to the beach front were built. The business was exceeding the expectation very offer, many guests were turned down because of the resort was overbook. Therefore the developer decided that another 30 superior and 6 deluxe bungalows should be added. This was happened in 2001. A few years later the traveler both domestic and international have over flocked into Koh Chang, especially during the month of November April. Therefore the new extension project composed of 80 guest rooms and a convention was planned. The convention was constructed and completed in the early 2007 and the extension of 80 guest rooms is expected to complete in July 2008. The resort has position to be a solid 4 star property compatible to other first and deluxe class of hotel and resort on the island. The concept of modern guest room type were created together with complete guest amenities, facilities and others will be our repeated customers or first time traveler to Koh Chang. This is ensured guests comfort and experiences the true nature of beach resort at the popular destination.

How to get:
From Koh Chang Airport /TDX/, there are several ways to arrive at KC Grande Resort. 1. By mini bus -join with others. This is operated by Bangkok Airways -the only airline that flies to Trat from Bangkok. The journey from Trat airport to Ao Thammachart -Ferry on the mainland- is approximately 20 mins. Then the bus will go into the Ferry and the the journey from the mainland to Koh Chang would be approximately 30 mins. From Ao Sapparos -Ferry pier at Koh Chang- to KC Grande Resort is approximately 10 mins. The mini bus will send the guests to the property. The charge per person per way is THB 350.- including the Ferry ticket. 2. By hotel private van. This is operated by the hotel. There would be a hotel staff waiting for the guests at the airport and will take them to the resort directly. The cost is THB 2,500 per van per way. 3. Travelling direction if driving by the guests themselves. From Trat Airport, on exit to the main road, take a left turn and go straight for approximately 20 mins, look on the right for the Ao Thammachart Ferry Pier. Then, turn right and there would be ticket box. The current fees is THB 120.- per person to board on the ferry and if you are taking your own car, the car will cost THB 200.- per car. This covers two-way and you will have a separate ticket. The journey from Ao Thammachart to Koh Chang is 30 mins. On exit to Koh Chang ferry pier -Ao Sapparos, take right turn. There is only one road in Koh Chang. So, you will not miss it. Go straight and you will find K C Grand Resort on your right hand side, approximately 10 mins drive.
