Scandic Grand Central is a building with classic historical roots. The street became Vasagatan during Stockholm's major renaming project in 1885 and is based on the corner of Stockholms two most tourist-friendly streets ? Kungsgatan and Vasagatan. The was erected in 1885 by renowned builder CO Lundberg and has been known as The Lundberg Palace.
