The Penn Wells Hotel and Lodge

The Penn Wells Hotel and the Penn Wells Lodge are located on beautiful Main Street in downtown Wellsboro, PA. Originally constructed in 1869, the Penn Wells Hotel underwent a renovation in 1926 and continues to reflect the character of that era. The Hotel hosts a fine dining restaurant serving three meals a day in season and an elegant lounge. A tenth of a mile down Main Street, the Penn Wells Lodge offers modern lodging with a pool and fitness center available to both Hotel and Lodge guests. We are pleased to announce that the Penn Wells Lodge is improving and expanding with 40 new rooms, a new lobby with a complimentary breakfast service, and an updated fitness center, which will open in the Summer of 2012. Unfortunately, we will be under construction for the next several months while these improvements are made. Our staff is working hard to make sure that the impact of construction on our guests is minimal. Although there may be temporary parking and walkways, actual construction is only taking place Monday-Friday from 8 am until late afternoon. We have requested that the construction crews limit loud projects until later in the morning If you have concerns regarding construction, you may wish to make your reservation at the Penn Wells Hotel, our historic hotel property one block away from the Lodge.
