The hotel has been run by its owners, the Willi Sauerhering family, since 1990, and is the recipient of several awards, such as for its family-friendly facilities. It comprises a total of 50 rooms and apartments from 28 m2 to 98 sqm, fully fitted with a TV, a video, a telephone, and an en suite bathroom. Facilities available include a creche, horse-riding, an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a solarium, a spa area, a gym, cycling, bowling, tennis, hiking, skiing, ponies, a petting zoo, and 30 hectares of pasture to roam about in. A golf course is about 500 m away, Legoland can be reached via motorway, Lindau, Bregenz, Lake Constance, Fuessen, the Children's Ski Circus lie 5 km away, and skiing is possible in, among others, Tannheim, Oberstdorf, the Walsertal valley, and Nesselwang. There are offers for specific family, children, senior citizen, and spa programmes.
