Hotel Silberhorn Lauterbrunnen

The Hotel Silberhorn is a delightful 3 star hotel situated in the heart of the village. The house is in a very quiet area away from the main road but only 2 short minutes from the railway station. Private parking is available. The non-smoking dining room provides a spacious and elegant atmosphere while maintaining the warmth; character and intimacy of the original building. There are two lounges; one which is non-smoking and an A la Carte restaurant with both smoking and non-smoking areas. The hotel has 36 comfortable individually designed non-smoking bedrooms complete with bathroom; TV; radio; telephone and hairdryer. Many of our rooms have balconies from which to view the magnificent scenery of the 300m high Staubbachfall that has already inspired poets such as Byron and Goethe. The Lauterbrunnen valley has 72 waterfalls. In winter our location offers the advantage of a ski piste that leads right up to the door. Lauterbrunnen is just a 15 minute drive from Interlaken located at the foot of the Eiger; Monch and Jungfrau. The unique countryside is an ideal area for both summer and winter holidays. Additional information; Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 7-12 pay CHF 50 inc breakfast and CHF 65 inc half board per night. Children age 13-16 pay CHF 60 inc breakfast and CHF 80 inc half board per night. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.
