Nestled among the towering peaks surrounding Lake Louise Deer Lodge has been treating travelers to true mountain hospitality for more than 60 years.
Set within the warm environment of log brick and stone we offer cozy comfortable lodging and award winning rocky mountain cuisine. We began in 1921 as a log teahouse known as the Lake Louise Trading Co. and in 1925 added our first guest rooms. Today we havent lost our original charm.
Recalling the lodges early beginnings some of our 73 rooms are furnished with antiques others have balconies and all have down comforters to snuggle under. Visit our dining room and savor our renowned authentic rocky mountain cuisine featuring game items from our game farm such as elk buffalo caribou and venison or enjoy afternoon tea light snacks a glass of wine from our wine spectators awarded wine list. Just across the street hiking trails beckon in summer and cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails in winter Later relax in front of our stone fireplace enjoy a quiet moment in our cedar sauna or gaze at the stars over Victoria glacier from our outdoor rooftop hot tub it will take your breath away.
