BEACHFRONT CABANAS
Located on the waters edge, these rustic accommodations are built on stilts between the palm trees, affording magnificent views and seclusion. Each Cabana has a king-size bed, ceiling fan, wet bar, marble vanities, large private deck and hammock. Approximately 270 sq. ft. Maximum occupancy: 2 persons.
JACUZZI JUNIOR SUITES
Set in the hillside with unrestricted views, these split level suites are excellent for couples and honeymooners. Peaceful and private and offering king size bed, separate seating area and whirlpool tubs in the bedrooms, they also feature wet bar with fridge and refined luxuries such as marble vanities. Each room is equipped with its own covered balcony or deck. Approximately 280 sq. ft. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults.
HILLSIDE OCEANVIEW DELUXE
Spacious rooms with breathtaking oceanviews from your private balcony or large covered deck, located on the hillside approximately 75 yards from the beach. A choice of king-size or twin beds, these tastefully furnished rooms offer refined luxuries such as marble vanities. Connecting rooms are available for families. Maximum occupancy 2 adults OR 2 adults and 1 child with a rollaway for the child.
BEACHFRONT DELUXE
These spacious deluxe accommodations sit just yards from the beach. Guestrooms are equipped with either a four-poster king or two queen-sized beds. Ocean views are provided from the large covered, 120 square foot terraces or balconies. The Beachfront Deluxe rooms also feature, ceiling fan, and large walk-in closet, separate shower area with marble vanity and dressing area. Some adjoining rooms are available, connected via the balcony. Approximately 360 sq. ft. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

THE PELICAN SUITES CONFERENCE CENTER
The Pelican Suite Conference Centre can accommodate 50 to 160 guests for meetings, special events, luncheons and dinners. An outdoor terraced reception area is capable of hosting up to 450 people for catering functions. The conference center features a BOSE sound system, microphone, build-in screen, video, slide projector, VCR, and CD player. We offer a separate conference office, max. 10-12 persons with Internet and fax access lines.

BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
Each of the 60 islands with only about 16 being inhabited that comprise the British Virgin Islands has something for everyone with secret bays, hidden coves, isolated beaches, white-tipped waves, swaying palms and a unique people. The BVI were first inhabited by the Ciboney Indians who arrived in stone age canoes from the Americas, followed by the Arawak Indians from South America who peacefully dominated the islands for many years until the arrival of the Carib Indians. These Carib Indians were a fierce and aggressive bunch, who worked their way north from South America about one hundred years before Christopher Columbus arrived. Columbus?s discovery of the BVI in 1493 brought about its colonization by the Spaniards who were followed by the French and finally the British. In those days of old the islands abounded with pirates and privateers who left behind a rich legacy of tales of treasures untold. The primary islands of the British Virgin Islands are Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke.
TORTOLA
Tortola, is also known as land of turtle doves, or Chocolate City. It is the Territory's main and largest island, with a population of over 14,000. Sage Mountain is the BVI's highest point with a National Park at 1,780 feet above sea level. Tortola's mountain peaks are covered with frangipani and sage on its southern coast, while its northern shores flaunt white sandy beaches, groves of succulent bananas and mangoes and groups of palm trees. Beef Island, the site of the BVI's main airport, is connected to Tortola by a bridge. Road Town, the capital of the BVI is located on the southern shore of Tortola.
VIRGIN GORDA
Virgin Gorda or Fat Virgin, refers to a protruding mountain seen by Columbus when he first encountered the island. It is second largest of the British Virgin Isles at ten miles long and two miles wide 8.5 square miles, and a population of about 2,500. Virgin Gorda is known for its yacht clubs, quiet coves, and safe anchorages for bareboats.
ANEGADA
Anegada is just a dot on the map lying 20 miles north of Virgin Gorda. It covers 15 square miles and rises 28 feet above sea level with a population of about 250. Over the years, more than 300 ships have been wrecked on the perilous coral reefs encompassing the islet, a misfortune which, in turn, has made Anegada a heaven on earth for divers. The wrecks and reefs themselves have been enhanced with colorful formations of the ordinary undersea flora and fauna.
JOST VAN DYKE
Jost Van Dyke is a four-square mile island to the north of Tortola's West End with a population of 200. Once known as the reputed hideaway for a Dutch pirate of the same name, Jost Van Dyke still opens it arms for travelers looking for an isolated, rustic getaway with first-class hiking trails.

Special weekly events include a Barbecue Cook-out and a Taste of Tortola buffet, both evenings featuring live entertainment. The 1748 Beach BarOpen from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. this is where to get an Island Fizz with breakfast, a Long Bay Cooler with lunch or a Papaya Daiquiri with dinner... Happy Hour is held every evening from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
THE PALM TERRACE RESTAURANT AND BAR
For elegant, leisurely candlelight dinning situated in the midst of a Palm Garden, this restaurant is widely regarded as one of the finest in Tortola and known for their fresh-from-the-reef seafood. Offering tempting selection of wonderfully prepared appetizers, entrees desserts and fine wines and liqueurs to compliment your repast. Dinner is served from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. Palm Terrace Bar, A social or romantic setting, this is the perfect spot for enjoying cocktails in the lounge or outside on the terrace. Open from 6 p.m. to closing, closed Sunday.
THE PASTA HOUSE
Located on the upper terrace of the 18th-century sugar mill, the Pasta House is an intimate dining venue open for dinner twice a week. It serves traditional Italian cuisine complemented by fine wines and ocean views. Reservations necessary.
THE PELICAN SWIM-UP POOL BAR
This popular swim-up pool bar serves tropical drinks and tasty snacks, burgers, sandwiches and salads. Open from 1130 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WATER SPORTS
Long Bays mile-long beach is white, powdery, and the perfect spot for water sports. In the summer, the beach provides excellent snorkeling, in the winter, bodysurfing is a popular activity. Snorkeling equipment and boogie boards are available for rental at our shop, The Sporting Pelican. The resort also features a fresh water pool with lovely ocean views.
SPA AND FITNESS
The Long Bay Beach Resort Wellness Spa and Salon is open from 9am to 6pm daily. It offers massages, facials, body wraps, body scrubs and reflexology, as well as beauty and hair treatments. The large airconditioned fitness center offers dumbbell free weights, up to 50 lbs., incline and decline benches, and bench press. There are an array of stretch mats to allow for pre and post stretching and abdominal work. For cardiovascular exercise we have Schwin treadmills, a stairmaster and exercise bicycles.
LONG BAY TENNIS
Long Bay offers a pro shop and two lighted artificial grass courts. There is a nominal charge for court time.
