How to get:
The Metropole is easy to locate, being at the city end of Brunswick Street, between Victoria Parade and Gertrude Street. The Metropole is well signed and all taxi companies are familiar with the property. If you are driving from the Airport, simply take the freeway into the city, exit at the flemington offramp and turn left at Victoria Street after the roundabout. Then, turn left again at Brunswick Street the Metropole is on your right not far from the next intersection. Alternatively, the Star Bus delivers and collect passengers between Airport and Hotel - bookings at Airport directly opposite Qantas Domestic luggage terminals and at hotel reception. Cost $16.00 per person each way.
