Metro Apartments on Darling Harbour consists of 30 fully serviced one bedroom loft style apartments. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. The kitchen and lounge room are downstairs. There are large floor to ceiling Cathedral Windows with view from some rooms. There is a strict NO PARTY POLICY and visitors are not allowed in rooms. There are approximately 12 steep stairs leading into the property and internal stairs leading from the lounge room to the bedroom. As these apartments are a loft style they are not suitable for small children. Please see the Metro Apartments on King Street. Discount agreement with Public Parking Station just down the road. Daily charge is approximately 30 dollars per 24 hour period. Car park is not open 24 hours Reception will validate your ticket for the discount. How to get:
Driving from Sydney International or Domestic Airport -SYD- Take the Eastern Distributor Motorway and then the Cross City Tunnel -toll cost of AU6.50. Exit left onto William Street and continue along this road crossing over George Street with the Town Hall on the left and the Queen Victoria Building on the right. You can turn right onto either Clarence or Kent Street and travel north until the intersection at traffic lights with Erskine Street. Turn left here and then left again into Sussex Street which is one way travelling south. The Sussex Street reception is approximately 400 metres -one block- on the corner of King and Sussex Street.
