Hjerting Badehotel has 42 rooms in three categories. All rooms have bath- TV and hairdryer- and most of the rooms have a beautiful view over the bay. The hotel is the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend on the west coast of Jutland and in the National Park Wadden Sea. Parties- conferences- champagne stays- weekend stays- wellness- golf holidays and gourmet stays. Each Saturday morning the hotel arranges a walk along the beach with tales about the Wadden Sea and the church Hjerting Kirke with its altarpiece made by the Danish sculptor Robert Jacobsen.
2007 was a crucial year in the history of the hotel. There were plans to build apartments on the lot and to close down the hotel. Luckily enough good-hearted people managed to save the hotel which underwent a gentle renovation. Thus it now appears as it did in the beginning. a charming seaside hotel with light and beautiful rooms. Like in former times a stay at Hjerting Badehotel can be summarized in these words. fresh air - a beautiful sunset and good food. The surroundings are still perfect with the location right at the beach at Ho Bugt and with woods and plantations near by.
The restaurant Strandpavillonen is the gastronomic meeting place of the hotel where the chef Rikke Baek has composed different menus with fresh ingredients primarily from the local area and the Wadden Sea area. The menu card comprises 3-course dinners and an a la carte menu with dishes from the almost 100-year old history of the seaside hotel - garnished with a touch of the present time. From the restaurant you have a fantastic view over Ho Bugt with the islands Fanoe- Langli and Skallingen in the horizon - and in the evening you have a seat at the stalls if you wish to watch the sunset.
Ship-Inn is the relaxing meeting place of the hotel and it is a combination of a bar- a cafe and a gallery where you can have a bite to eat- a cup of coffee or a drink.
