Rural Hotel Can Carol is in an old house from the 14th century, completely and authentically restored, and strategically located near the paleolithic caves of Abric Romani, in the historic area of La Font de la Reina - the ancient road from Barcelona to Madrid. This wonderful historic house offers very comfortable and pleasant accommodation in its seven rooms and suites, all with bathrooms. Each room is uniquely decorated, and there are four double rooms, one single room, one junior suite and the Suite Font de la Reina. There is satellite television in each room, telephone, internet connection, laundry service and room service. In the garden there is a pleasant swimming pool and terrace for the warmer days. Free parking is available. The hotel is close to Igualada, close to the major roads that cross Catalunia from north to south and east to west. Just an hours drive to the airport and Barcelona, close to Montserrat and fifteen minutes drive to Vilafranca del Penedes. Breakfast is served and there is a selection of meals available on a dinner menu. Additional information: Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding.
