The Hotel is privately-owned and offers all its guests a warm welcome to Gloucestershire throughout the year. We have a licensed restaurant which is also open to non-residents, and aim to offer a high standard of cuisine and accommodation to all our guests. There are open log fires in both the restaurant and the comfortable drawing room. The hotel stands at the edge of the village beside the gates of historic Berkeley Castle. The views across to the Cotswold Hills and its position right next to the Castle make the Hotel a very peaceful place to stay. We are easy to find, just 5 minutes from Junction 14 of the M5, or 10 minutes from Junction 13/M5.

How to get:
The Old School House Hotel is located in the town of Berkeley in the English county of Gloucestershire. Berkeley is easily accessible from all directions, situated as it is close to the junction of the M4 and M5 motorways. Take the M5 Motorway and exit at Junction 14 if travelling from the South, or Junction 13 if coming from the North. At this Junction follow signs for Stroud/Berkeley, A38. At the A38, take the road to Stroud/Berkeley and head for Berkeley. Follow the brown tourist signs for Berkeley Castle - we are right next door to it. The whole journey from leaving the M5 should take no more than 10/15 minutes. Alternatively, take the A38 North out of Bristol or South from Gloucester until you see the signs for Berkeley Castle. Turn into Berkeley and you will be with us in a few minutes.
