Ambasciatori Palace Hotel

Designed by architect Carlo Busiri Vici between 1900 and 1903, the palace was one of the first buildings in this area, surrounded by vine yards, vegetable plots and gardens. To underline its countryside origins, its structure incorporates some of the architectural features typical of large prestigious country houses. It has been known as the Ambassadors Palace since the early 1900s, due to its selected clientele of diplomats and businessmen. In 1993, the interior was elegantly and sympathetically restored. The plaster cornices, ceiling panels, capitals and arches, columns of Brazilian granite, marble floors with multicoloured mosaic borders and the wrought ironwork of the central staircase, have all been restored to their original splendour. With 150 rooms and suites, restaurant, bar and meeting rooms and facilities, the Ambasciatori Palace Hotel offers the very best of traditional Italian hospitality.
