Exit highway A1 at Florence CERTOSA. Follow directions to Florence CENTRO center going towards Porta Romana. Pass through the gate of Porta Romana if you should be stopped by the police just tell them that you are going to the Hotel Palazzo Magnani Feroni; the area is a limited traffic zone so that is why they might stop you. As you enter the gate you will be on a street called Via Romana the only street continuing from the gate. Follow the Via Romana until you reach a small roundabout with a large obelisk in the middle. On your right you will already be able to see a part of Palazzo Pitti and on your left you will see a church. Veer left and follow the street passing a small square Piazza Santo Spirito on your right. When you get to the first traffic light cross the intersection and go straight ahead. You will find a second small square on your right Piazza del Carmine. Just after the piazza turn on the first small street on your right Via del Leone. Take that street to the end
