Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the ocean, beach and lovely park with magnificent views of the Monterey bay all around. Take a book to read or just relax - The Monterey Bay Aquarium: a few minutes away. One of the largest in the Nation with their newest resident- a Great White Shark. This is a wonderful aquarium and large enough to at least plan for one whole day there. You can save yourself wait in line and use for 2 consecutive days by purchasing your Aquarium tickets at the front desk. - The Cannery Row: a few minutes away. Made famous by author John Steinbeck, has witnessed a resurgence. The old canneries have been restored into shops, galleries and fine restaurants. - Fishermans Wharf: couple of miles away with its lighthearted collection of shops, kiosks and restaurants. Provides a place where you can watch dinner being unloaded fresh from the fishing boats. - Pebble Beach & Carmel: A few minutes drive to the famous 17 mile drive and Carmel with its fine shops, galleries and restaurants. - Walking and Biking: extraordinary walking and biking paths follow the ocean along the Monterey bay from Fishermans Wharf all the way around through Lovers Point and onto Pebble beach.

How to get:
FROM HIGHWAY 1 TAKE: Highway 68 West. Stay on Highway 68, it enters Pacific Grove and becomes Forest Avenue. Follow Forest Avenue downhill past the Junior High past Pine Avenue past Lighthouse Avenue (Main Downtown Street). One block past Lighthouse Avenue turn left on: Central Avenue and travel two blocks. Centrella Inn is on the right hand side of the road on the corner of Central and 17th Street.
