Remarkables Lodge

An authentic luxury lodge in a stunning location at the base of the Remarkables with uninterrupted views of these magnificent mile-high mountains and surrounded by deer farm - 10 minutes from Queenstown centre. This historic country estate accommodates 14 guests and offers small luxury hotel facilities and impeccable service with a welcoming and hospitable ambience, epitomising the New Zealand Lodge experience. Spacious sitting areas and a bar with snooker table. Superb mountain views from the two dining rooms - enabling guests to join the hosted lodge table or eat privately to enjoy the award-winning resident chef's delectable cuisine, incorporating fresh local ingredients. Sun lounge with sauna and spa pool opening onto a swimming pool and tennis court. From the lodge's helipad guests are whisked to the top of the mountains, Milford Sound or wilderness sites for fly fishing, hiking or champagne picnic. Three large suites with balconies and three lodge rooms are upstairs in the main house plus a detached two-room suite opening onto the garden. Accommodation is ensuite and equipped with TV, stereo, fridge, and tea/coffee facilities. Tariff includes breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Located on the sunny side of Queenstown ten minutes from the centre, 5 minutes from the airport, and 2 minutes from the entrance to the skifield places the lodge close to the action but away from the busyness of the vibrant centre of Queenstown. Set at the base of Remarkables, the mountains lend a dramatic element to the lodge setting. Surrounded by deer farm and with extensive gardens including many fruit trees the grounds provide restful areas to soak up the pure New Zealand experience.
