Along the river promenade you reach the old part of the town easily in 15 ? 20 walking minutes. (Distance is around 1 km ? 1,5 km). There is also a fine bus connection from the Hotel.
The next bus?stop is situated 70 meters from the Hotel entrance. The ride lasts less than 10 minutes and the ticket per person is ? 2,20.
Some of the most important sights of the City are the Mirabell gardens, Mozarts Birthplace,
the cathedral and a lot of churches, museums, theatres, the old Residence, the Getreidegasse with a lot of nice shops, and the fortress of Hohensalzburg, which is the highest
point of the City.
