The Rival Hotel is a special place you would like to stay at a long time and long to return after you have left. The Rival is situated next to Mariatorget a charming square and surrounded by boutiques art galleries and picturesque alleys. The building dates from 1937 and interior details from this period have been saved all of which can be seen clearly in the lounge and Cocktailbar. This lively place has been owned by Benny Andersson since 2002 and re opened in 2003.The Rival Hotel has its own bakery cafi?? two bars a bistro and meeting space with room for 700 people suitable for anything such as shareholders meetings to concerts. A great combination of function and design is found in all 99 rooms. After a busy day in Stockholm it is hard to imagine a nicer place to stay when visiting the capital.
