Stroll through the large lush green courtyard of our luxury San Diego resort to the steps leading down to the rolling surf, or walk through surrounding Carlsbad and visit its countless boutiques and cafes. In addition to participating in the many on-site activities, guests may wish to spend a day at LEGOLAND, just 10 minutes away from this San Diego beach resort. Guests venturing further will find our North San Diego luxury resort location just a short drive to SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Del Mar Racetrack, Mexico, Disneyland Park, Knott's Berry Farm and a host of water-related sports and activities. Carlsbad Inn is now a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted in the Carlsbad Inn rentals, on the green, by the pool, on the patios, or in the underground garage. Smoking is only permitted on two designated areas. The resort will undergo renovation from February 4 to May 23 (tentatively). During this period, parts of the resort will hear some construction noise associated with the HVAC system and painting renovation during normal business hours on weekdays only and will experience limited outages of the system in their hotel or condo unit. A front walkway concrete renovation will re-route guests going to the lobby area through the resort’s library entrance.
