The historic university town centre is home to Hotel du Vin Cambridge the beautiful building on Trumpington Street, which dates back in part to the medieval times,has been transformed to enhance its many quirky architectural features. 41 bedrooms and suites have been carved out of the former university-owned building,along with our trademark Bistro, library and private dining room, the Champagne bar is located in the labyrinth of vaulted cellar rooms. Guests can also enjoy the use of a bicycle to explore the town. . Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, the Bistro offers a menu rooted in classic European cuisine with a contemporary edge. Here you will find ?simple classics? that change seasonally, with our head chef adding their own selections daily, all supporting our philosophy of using the finest and freshest local produce, cooked simply, priced sensibly. . Our extensive and eclectic wine list is a key feature of the hotel. In addition to the main list, which includes an impressive array by the glass, there is a small daily selection of good value wines to complement the menu.
