Today most of the traffic bypasses Bredal on the motorway and this means that there is peace and tranquillity in the inns 24 well-equipped double rooms. All the rooms are situated in a separate building. Bredal Kro is situated in the little village Bredal on the old and previously very busy main road between Vejle and Horsens. Here you cannot avoid noticing that the red-painted inn is very practically situated for the travellers. Indeed it is this location on the crowded main road which has created the inn. Originally it was a four-winged farm and many tired travellers have knocked on the door and asked if they could have a glass of water.
The farmer soon found out that he could sell more than the delicious cold well water and finally the inn was royally licensed in 1847. The inn became famous for its food especially owing to its succulent steaks and large omelettes with bacon. This is also the case today. the speciality of Bredal Kro is still the good home-cooked inn food. The menu comprises both old-fashioned pork chops with red cabbage and Hamburg steaks and onions.
Bredal Kro is situated in an East-Jutland hollow. It takes only a few minutes drive to the beach at Vejle Fjord. It is also close to the shops and attractions in Vejle and Horsens and LEGOLAND and Givskud Zoo are certainly within easy reach as well. There are many really good golf courses within a reasonable driving distance from the inn.
