Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza

The Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza is a beautiful hotel that was built in 1884. We offer our guests an atmosphere of personal and individual attention and the highest conceivable level of service. There is one thing on which we never compromise - personal service. The building, located at 29 Birger Jarlsgatan, was designed by an unknown architect in 1884. Since then it has been the home of many different businesses, such as the Hotel Clara Larsson, for example. At the rear of the hotel was the legendary, Restaurant Damberg, which opened in 1903. The real estate office, however, wanted to demoloish the building in 1979, but this was opposed by the Stockholm City Museum. Elite Hotels took over the property and after a very extensive, full restoration program, the new hotel opened in 1984. It is located only 100 meters from Stureplan, in central Stockholm.
