Tyrstrup Kro has 27 cosy rooms all of which with bath- toilet- TV and wireless Internet. 15 of the rooms are luxury suites with spa. The rooms are situated in a new hotel building from 1998. The cuisine is first-class and the inn has a rare selection of fine old wines. The inn has hosted a countless number of family parties. Pianist every weekend.
Tyrstrup Kro is situated in idyllic surroundings near fields and woods only a few kilometres from the gingerbread town Christiansfeld.
Tyrstrup Kro has been here for at least 350 years and it came into existence because the farmers wished to have a bite to eat when they gathered to perform their duties in the sowing and harvest time. Annette and Torben Schultz have been the owners since 1987. They have made many efforts to restore the old inn and make it an appreciated place to eat. As a matter of fact - guests come from far away to have a fine meal and enjoy a well-provided table in the cosy restaurants. Lunch is usually served in Pejsestuen. Jaegerstuen is the gourmet restaurant of the inn which is furnished in a classic style.
The chefs of the cuisine create both small separate courses and large 8-course gourmet dinners. For example the inn offers a special Champagne Gourmet Stay. In the summer the inn has a popular 4-course summer menu.
