The River Restaurant has an intimate feel with candlelit tables looking out over the River Dart and the marina. The stylish seafood cooking and unique flavour of the sea at this waterfront restaurant has international acclaim. Fresh fish and shellfish arrive daily from both Dartmouth Quay and nearby Brixham. While seafood is a speciality, the River Restaurant is also famous for prime local produce of all kinds. Due to open in Spring 2006, the Wildfire Bistro will be a less formal, continental style Bistro restaurant where guests will also be able to dine al fresco on the sheltered terrace.

How to get:
From Exeter Airport/M5 Motorway - Join the M5 motorway (signposted M5 Plymouth, Torquay). Continue forward onto the A38 (signposted Torquay, Plymouth). At the major junction of the A380 (which goes to Torquay) take the right fork to Plymouth on the A38. Approximately 19 miles along the A38, take the A384 to Totnes. Follow the signs to Totnes (turning left at the roundabout near Dartington Glass). Just outside Totnes drive under a footbridge and at the traffic lights turn right onto the A381 signposted Dartmouth and Kingsbridge. Dartmouth Town Centre - Follow the signs towards Higher Ferry, turn left at the Floating Bridge Bar and you will find the hotel directly in front of you. Ample, free car parking available on-site.
