On the way to the Temple of the Valley- (of the pyramid of Kephren)- lies the large statue of the Sphinx. It is 70 metres long and 20 metres high.
HANGING CHURCH
The Hanging Church is the most famous Coptic Christian church in Cairo- and possibly the first church built in Basilcan style. It is believed to have been built during the patriarchate of Isaac (690-92)- though an earlier church building .
PYRAMIDS IN GIZA
The most famous structure in the world was built by King Cheops (IV Dynasty) around 2650 B.C.- on an area of 13 feddans. Its height now is 137 ms (original height: 146 ms).
