We operate an open kitchen policy in our fully stocked country kitchen, so make yourself at home, and eat and drink whenever you wish. As part of your stay, enjoy a full Scottish breakfast in the morning, prepared for you by our chef (subject to departure times). How to get:
By Car Our Hotel can be found from the North by following the A77 road south for 7 miles from Kilmarnock, until you reach the Monkton Roundabout. Then take the 2nd turn off on the left from the roundabout, and you are now on Kilmarnock Road. Follow this road for 600 metres and Muirhouse is on your right hand side to welcome you. By Air Muirhouse Farm Guest House is situated within 3 minutes of Glasgow Prestwick International Airport. To reach us after your arrival at the airport, exit the car park onto the main road, the A79, and turn right. Continue straight on, through the first immediate roundabout, and go straight on. Continue until you reach the 2nd roundabout and then take the turning off this road on the right hand side, onto the B739. Follow this road and it joins onto Kilmarnock Road soon after, where we can be found on the left hand side. By Train The nearest railway station is Glasgow Prestwick International Airport Railway station. Trains run to and from Glasgow every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 45 minutes. When arriving here you should cross over above the A79 main road by using the covered walkway, to get to the main entrance of the airport, approximately 80 metres away. Here you will be able to get a taxi directly to our front door. The taxi journey will take under 5 minutes.
