Area Attractions
There are many natural attractions. The forest canopy tour, which allows the guest to swing through the trees. A tour of Cario Negro takes place mostly on the river Rio Frio which is an abundant source of wildlife like caimans monkeys, iguanas and large quantities of birds. The Arenal hanging bridges were built to allow people to observe the tops of trees and the wildlife that can not be seen from the grounds. A horse ride on the slopes of the Arenal volcano along mountain trails crosses rivers and a beautiful landscape. On this tour there will be views of dry lava from past eruptions.
