Fantastic area attraction. Requires $5 membership, but is a 300+ acre wildlife and environmental reseach and education facility. Rent kayaks for the day, hike the miles of trails, and see all kinds of wildlife.

We are located in the heart of the Kent Narrows on the water. You can walk to all the restaurants and bars.

Great Historic Waterfront Town. Nice shopping and eating choices.
Sandy Point State Park
Sandy Point is located at the base of the Bay Bridge on the Western Shore side. They have a fantastic Christmas Light Show. You can launch your boat and picnic there. Also, have a very popular Beach.

How to get:
Rt 97 S, to Rt 50 E towards Annapolis. Cross Chesapeake Bay Bridge ($4.50 toll). Continue on Rt 50 E, take Exit 42. Right at stop sign, right after the Best Western Hotel, and a third right turn immediatly after you drive under the bridge. Holiday Inn Express will be on your left.

From I-95 S, take I-495 S, I-495 S becomes I-95 S. Merge onto DE-896 S via Exit 1A toward Middletown. Stay straight to DE-71/US-301 crossing into Maryland. Take Exit 42, Hotel will be on your right.

New York Avenue turns into Rt 50 E, towards Annapolis. Cross Chesapeake Bay Bridge ($2.50 toll).
