How to get:
FROM THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE: Coming south on Highway 101 towards downtown San Francisco. Exit at Lombard Street. Follow Lombard Street staying in the two right hand lanes, which will turn right onto Van Ness Avenue. Continue on Van Ness Avenue, staying in the left hand lanes. Turn left onto Bush Street. Go three blocks and turn right onto Hyde Street. The Nob Hill Hotel located on the right side of the street. FROM THE OAKLAND BAY BRIDGE: Cross the Bay Bridge (I-80). Take the Fremont Street exit. Turn Left onto Fremont Street. Fremont Street becomes Front Street. Turn Left onto Pine Street. Take Pine Street to Hyde. Turn Left onto Hyde Street. The Nob Hill Hotel is in the middle of the second block on the right side of the street. SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: VIA AIRPORT SHUTTLE: Airport Shuttle Vans depart approximately every 15 minutes from the upper level 'Departures' area of the airport (upstairs from baggage claim). The cost varies from $8.00- $15.00 per person one way depending on which shuttle service is available. Advise the driver the name of our hotel for drop off. When departing The Nob Hill Hotel our front desk will arrange for Shuttle Vans to return you to the San Francisco Airport. VIA TAXI : Taxis are available on the lower level 'Arrivals' area of the airport (outside the baggage claim). Cost is approximately $30-35 to downtown San Francisco. VIA RENTAL CAR : Most major rental car agencies are located at the San Francisco Airport. If you will be using your car less than the duration of your stay, often you will be able to return your car at a near downtown location. Remember, parking in any city may be difficult. Make yourself aware of all local traffic laws to avoid tickets and tows. FROM SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT: Headnorth on Highway 101 towards Downtown San Francisco. Stay in left hand lanes and exit at '9th Street/ Civic Center'. After exiting, veer left onto 9th Street. Continue on 9th Street, staying in the two right hand lanes. 9th Street will turn into Larkin Street. Continue up Larkin Street, until you reach Bush Street. Turn right on Bush Street, go one block, turn right onto Hyde Street. The Nob Hill Hotel is in the middle of the first block on the right hand side of the street.
