The building itself was an old farmhouse that was recovered; keeping the architecture and materials from the traditional Algarve. The 10 guest rooms also have traditional furniture and spirit but with the comforts of modern time. All rooms feature air conditioning; heated floor; TV and direct connection to internet. The bathrooms have a rustic-modern style and are very pleasant with under floor heating. The garden is manly composed of Mediterranean aromatic plants like thyme; lavender; rosemary or cistus; which creates a very pleasant air around the farm. The swimming pool is chlorine free; causing no irritation on the skin and eyes. It has a very nice view and a peaceful feeling. Quinta do Mel has exterior private parking with access control by remote device used by the guest. Additional Information; Children age 3 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 4-10 pay 15 EUR. Children age 11-17 pay 25 EUR. Children over this age will be considered an adult. Other Child Policy Information; only 1 extra bed per room. From Faro Airport take the A22 in the direction of Portimao and leave at Boliqueime. In Fonte de Boliqueime turn right to EN125. At the first traffic lights; at Pata turn left to Rua da Praia. Go straight ahead and turn left at the third roundabout. Go straight ahead until you find indications in the surroundings of Quinta do Mel.
Get the train to Albufeira and then the bus to the centre of town terminal. At the terminal get the bus to Praia da Falesia.
