Viennas first green upscale pays tribute to Viennas artistic heritage of the late 19th and early 20th century - Its name -cylindrical form and staggered large oval windows draws influence from a silver vase -studded with amber gems -made by iconic Viennese artist Koloman Moser - Inside each window is fitted with a divan bed integrated into the windowsill - the ideal spot to gaze down on the old town - The interiors pay homage to other Austrian artists such as Dagobert Peche - The Viennese Modern Age is celebrated and revived throughout the hotel particularly in the Salon where the easy-going yet luxurious vibe of a private turn-of-the-century Viennese house is recreated - With welcoming couches and fauteuils -clandestine corners -snacks and drinks -guests are encouraged to relax -reflect -work and indulge - alone or with other guests - Its 32 rooms are set over nine floors and fitted with custom-made furnishings -light fixtures and lush curtains all in earthy and natural tones
