We are a privately owned west-end hotel located in Kings Gate Aberdeen-just off Anderson Drive which is the citys main North-South thoroughfare. With easy access to Aberdeen Airport/rail station and industrial and commercial areas the hotel is ideally situated for the business and leisure traveller. Aberdeen city centre-offering a host of specialist shops-galleries- gardens and leisure entertainment is only minutes away. The Atholl is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside-Scotlands Castle and Whisky trail-undiscovered coastlines and Royal Deeside. Play one of the many famous golf courses enjoy the atmosphere of many local Highland Games or visit the Cairngorm National Park. There are also many other nature reserves-forest walks- breathtaking scenery and a wide selection of Winter sports available. The hotel offers the best in business facilities also with free broadband internet access in all 34 bedrooms and both function rooms. The function suites are ideal for hosting seminars- presentations-corporate entertainment-small intimate weddings and private dinners. As an added advantage we have a large private car park at the rear of the hotel which can accommodate up to 60 cars. The Lounge Bar enjoys a busy but relaxing atmosphere-choose from our selection of malt whisky/beers/ales or a glass of wine from our extensive list. Our Restaurant and Lounge are open 7 days for lunch and dinner with meals being served all day on a Sunday between 12 noon and 8.30pm. We offer the best in fresh local Scottish produce-Aberdeen Angus steaks/fresh fish and shellfish from Scottish Waters and locally grown fruit and vegetables.
