Dikker and Thijs is a fourstar-hotel and is located in the heart of the ancient city on the beautiful Prinsengracht Canal, at the corner of the Leidsestraat. Most of the comfortable, spacious and stylish rooms offer a beautiful view over the canal. The first Dikker and Co Shop was founded in 1895 by Mr. A.W. Dikker and soon became famous in Amsterdam and the rest of Holland for its quality. Today, more than 100 years later, a lot has changed but the new Dikker and Thijs Fenice Hotel still respects the spirit of the founders. In 2001 the historical hotel was completely redecorated in a lavish classic style.
