How to get:
From the M25 take Junction 12 onto the A12 signposted to East Anglia. Follow signs to Colchester (approx 40 miles). Take Colchester Central turnoff (A133) to roundabout taking the second exit towards town centre and at the next round about take the third exit to the town centre. At the next round about take the second exit and continue to the traffic lights where you will turn right going up to the top of the hill where you will bear left onto the High Street where the Red Lion is half way up on your right. PLEASE NOTE: The Red Lion Hotel does not have its own car park, (these were not required in c1465!). We recommend that you initially park in the loading bay outside the hotel, take your luggage up to reception and check-in. The nearby NCP car park is PS8.50 per overnight stay & must be paid directly at the NCP car park. We hope you enjoy your visit to the Red Lion Hotel.
