Welcome to Marrakech and the Riyad El Cadi! Once you arrive in Marrakech Airport, the spacious, lively square of Jamaa El Fna, which is located in the heart of the old town, is only a 10-minute taxi ride away. After a further 10 minutes you will arrive at our unobtrusive front door. Behind this door a surprising oasis of calm awaits, where birds sing, fountains bubble, and orange and lemon trees fragrance the air and bear their glorious fruits. The nearby bazaar, with its exciting and colourful impressions, belongs to a quite different world. Walking around the 7 buildings of the Riyad El Cadi, through its courtyards, hallways and stairwells, you will gain a good impression of traditional Moroccan architecture, of its large, clean shapes and dignified age. Our 12 rooms and suites are spread across five interconnected patios. Three salons and alcoves invite guests to read or play cards, to relax or to have an aperitif before being served dinner in our dining hall. The marquees and sun loungers on the spacious terraces will tempt guests to sunbathe or far niente. Guests can make use of the small pool and Jacuzzi, our library and its literature about Morocco, the WLAN Internet connection, a television in the lounge of the Palm House and the Hammam Turkish bath.

You should allow 2 to 3 days to visit this town that is full of tradition and historic buildings and unique souks. Attractions include the ever lively and large Jemaa el Fna square, the architecturally striking Medersa Ben Youssef Koran school, the long forgotten Saadier graves, the splendiferous Bahia Palace, the Badi Palace with its unique pulpit, the various gardens, including the Menara and Majorelle gardens and the Marrakesh Museum. We are happy to help you plan your stay, as well as make reservations and suggestions for successful shopping. Marrakech is the ideal base for a day trip to Essaouira, the charming, colourful Atlantic seaport, or for day trips to the valleys of the high Atlas Mountains. A large number of agencies rent four-by-four, all-terrain cars with or without drivers, for trips into the mountains or to nearby deserts. We are happy to help you plan your daytrips.

Standing on the Jemaa el Fna square, with the Cafe de France on your right-hand side, turn right behind the Cafe into the second street, rue Dabachi. Go over the small crossroads and drive through the covered area. When the blue sky returns, turn left into the lane that is lined with large green flowerpots, called Derb Moulay Abdelkader. You will find us on the second corner at the end of the street, no. 86/87. There is no sign on our hotel, but you will have reached your destination! Of course, we are also happy to come and pick you up. Simply give us a call and our driver will come and collect you and your luggage from the Jemaa el Fna.

Marrakechs surrounding area offers a wide-range of activities: the 3 international golf courses in the Palmeraie are just a 15-minute taxi ride away. There are stables that offer horse riding with an Atlas Mountain backdrop. Several natural bathing options invite you to swim, bathe and sunbathe. You can mountain bike, walk or hike in the Atlas Mountains. Furthermore, you can go quad biking or go for a hot air balloon ride. Relaxation can be found in the exclusive Hammams located nearby.
