Hotel Norre Vinkel

Hotel Noerre Vinkel has 33 rooms with bath and colour TV and also conference facilities and banqueting rooms for up to 300 persons. Naturally the conference rooms have all necessary AV equipment and Internet connection. When you have finished the days work it is good to know that the hotel has a nice indoor swimming pool with sauna and solarium - and right outside the door the beautiful nature. There are only a few km to the forest Klosterheden Statsskovdistrikt where there are several signposted cycling and hiking routes; it was also in Klosterheden that beavers were released for the first time in Denmark some ten years ago. Lemvig is truly the dimple of West Jutland and the old large farmhouse Noerre Vinkel is situated right here in the hollow beside the Limfjord and not far away from the North Sea. The farm dates from 1841 but after large-scale restorations and extensions the buildings now house a modern hotel and golf centre with good conference facilities. You can still sense the old farm and its wings and in the restaurant you will be impressed by the large timber constructions and the beautiful view over the fjord. When staying at Noerre Vinkel you are in tune with nature. It is right outside the door and in Gjellerodde the sheep pasture and make sure that the growth is kept down. There are lots of possibilities for an active holiday and the golf course Lemvig Golfbane is situated only 500 metres from the hotel. The golf course is an open course in a fantastic and beautiful hilly terrain and it is almost without trees like the old famous courses in Scotland and England. When playing on the course in Lemvig you get totally different challenges than on the more traditional courses. The restaurant serves popular 3-course dinners and people who like sweets can look forward to the desserts among which is - a serious chocolate cake with marinated lychees.
