The Copthorne Tara Hotel is located in a quiet corner of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, an area of enormous historic and architectural interest. Stylish boutiques and fashionable restaurants, as well as significant cultural and entertainment attractions surround it. The hotel is changing to be non smoking from 1st December 2010. The hotel boasts 833 air-conditioned bedrooms; these include Standard rooms, Club rooms on the upper floors which offer city views and access to a private lounge, adapted rooms for the disabled traveller, suites and business apartments. The Standard bedrooms are spacious and decorated with traditional decor of natural wood and soothing shades. Seven floors of standard rooms are designated non-smoking. Situated on the top two floors of the hotel, the Club bedrooms are more spacious with luxurious decor and views over London. In room amenities include: complimentary Broadband Internet access, bathrobes, satellite TV and pay movies, mini bar (chargeable), hairdryer, complimentary tea & coffee facilities, climate control, direct dial telephone, and late check out (subject to availability). In addition to the above, the hotel boasts 750m2 of flexible meetings and events space consisting of the Shannon Suite (ground floor) and the Liffey Suite (mezzanine floor), which can be subdivided to create 7 separate air-conditioned rooms.
