Empress Hotel

The Empress Hotel commands a prime position on the Victorian promenade overlooking Douglas Bay on the Isle of Man. Built at the end of the last century; the hotel has been extensively upgraded resulting in an interior transformation. The hotel has 102 bedrooms of which there are 3 luxurious executive suites, a number of executive sea facing rooms and a fantastic top floor penthouse overlooking the whole of Douglas Bay. A large conservatory spanning the entire length of the front of the hotel provides the ideal place to relax, unwind and take in the panoramic sea views over Douglas Bay and the headlands. A spiral staircase winds down to La Brasserie Restaurant, serving a wide variety of dishes including the old favourites amongst the more exquisite. The restaurant offers a standard of cuisine unrivalled on the Island and is renown for its quality food and superb service. The Empress offers a choice of two purpose built flexible conference suites. The Prince Albert Suite can accommodate up to 180 conference delegates and is ideally suited to product launches, training courses and wedding receptions. For smaller gatherings the Connaught suite is the perfect alternative with space for up to 60 delegates. In addition, syndicate rooms and breakout coffee and dining facility layouts can be arranged. Both Conference suites can be set up with equipment and decoration to your requirements.
