Grand Hotel OKA

The hotel complex Oka is situated in a picturesque place of Nizhny Novgorod-on a high bank of the Oka River not far from the Central Park-NNovgorod Lobachevsky University-and the Sports Center. The hotel was open in 1975. The biggest hotel of our city became a pearl of the Volga region capital. The front was beautifully decorated with glass tiles-rooms were furnished with modern furniture made by Gorky furniture-dealers-the walls of the restaurant were adorned with artistic painting-the ceilings were made of acoustical tiles. The hotel was proud to have the title of a high quality service organization. The second birth of the hotel started in 2001. It took four years to reconstruct four buildings according to Europe standards. Several conference halls were established. A new stage of reconstruction began in February in 2005. A new air-conditioning system with air cleansing filters was developed. Great designers were invited to work on the interiors. From the point of view of specialists- designers managed to realize the main goal of the project - to create a comfortable atmosphere where minimalism harmonizes with individual interiors. All mentioned above led to the fact that in 2005 the hotel got a three-star hotel certificate In the year 2007 the Oka hotel won Grand Prix. Today our hotel offers service of high quality and a wide range of additional services.
