Originally built in 1881 by President Chester Arthurs Secretary of State, Frederick T. Frelinghuysen, the Kemble Inn has since graced the town of Lenox, MA with its stately grandeur. The Inn features thirteen guests suites of varying sizes and with unique features, and mountain views. All suites have private baths, cable TV, Central AC, telephones and FREE wireless internet. Nine rooms have working marble fireplaces or Jacuzzis. You will enjoy our full hot breakfast on your next stay - because lets face it - if you are staying in a 140 year old mansion from the Gilded age - a continental breakfast just wont do. In Summer, enjoy the music, theatre and dance festivals of Tanglewood, Berkshire and Williamstown Theatre, Shakespeare and Company, Jacobs Pillow and our famous museums such as The Norman Rockwell Museum and Clark Art Institute.
