This hotel occupies an emblematic building located in the old part of the town center and facing the south side of the Royal Palace. The building dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries, when it was destined to be the residential palace of Sir Manuel Godoy, one of King Carlos IVs favorites. The remains of this unfinished building, the exercise ring with its wide vaults, is today the main reception room of the hotel.
