We are 15 minutes from Oneonta and just a short scenic drive from Oneonta to Cooperstown. The cottage sits in a clearing on 11 acres of woods, perfect for bird watching with hiking and walking trails. The only sound you will hear at night is the sound of crickets, and the cottage is a great get-away. You can just relax and swim in our 20x 40 heated pool, enjoy a picnic with an outdoor gas grill by the cottage, or have access to many fine, inexpensive, off the beaten path restaurants in the area. What we offer is a vacation experience you will want to repeat. We are a romantic getaway, pet friendly as well as a non-smoking establishment. The cottage sleeps 1-6 with a comfortable living room with a TV VCR with tapes, and a phone to make reservations wherever you might want to go. We have a fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom with tub and shower and the living room has two comfortable hotel quality singles.Quilts, linens and towels are provided. A canoe is available for trips along the nearby Susquehanna and Unadilla rivers and for fishing on Lake Otsego in Cooperstown. We are in Historic NY State, amidst many battle sites of American Revolution. Check-in is at 3 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
