Dominated by the 8th century Monastery Disentis with still fewer than 3.000 inhabitants is this charming village with a warm and welcoming feeling. In Disentis skiers have access to some 60km of marked downhill runs at altitudes between 1.150m and 2.920m with the longest run being 15km long. During the summer season Disentis is a haven for mountain bikers and hikers.
