Sports and special interest clubs abound, and members are always pleased to welcome overseas visitors. Golf, diving, cricket, running, hiking, surfing, windsurfing, soccer, field hockey. There are several old mansions, heritage buildings and the Barbados Museum which are worth a visit. The National Trust has two special attractions....all year they feature two conducted hikes every Sunday, each with three different levels. During December to April the National Trust has open houses at some of the magnificent homes and gardens of the rich and famous on the island. The Botanical Gardens, the underground Harrisons Caves and the Flower Forest are all worth a visit. Music abounds - January is Jazz Festival, Mark Holders Opera Season, Gospelfest in June, Crop Over Carnival is July and August.

Driving Directions The airport can be accessed from the ABC Highway, which runs from Bridgetown to the airport -journey time, approximately 20 minutes. It can also be reached from Hwy-7 along the southern coast.
