In a privileged location high up in Madeiras beautiful hinterland, surrounded by impressive mountains and lush vegetation, the Pousada dos Vinhaticos is a small rural guesthouse, ideal for everybody who appreciates closeness to nature, tranquility and the simplicity of rural life. Providing fabulous panoramic views, the Pousada dos Vinhaticos consists of two distinct parts - the roadside main house, an original stone building, and a more recent annex that was built entirely of wood, with logs having been imported directly from Finland, set picturesquely onto the backing slope about 100 m from the road. The Pousada dos Vinhaticos is also an ideal base for small walking groups, and offers in total 21 guest rooms, a rustic restaurant with beautiful panoramic views, a bar with an adjacent games room as well as an outdoor snack bar.
